note my 5 stars: this review is based exclusively on two visits, both on Sat-Morgens as they open, so I was in the round of me. I say that because I have read reviews that show that there was a long waiting period that I have not experienced. also, I come here for coffee, nothing else, so this review concerns coffee, location, personal and price that is it. Anyway, the fry espresso coffee of my opinion is really good (have a funky light fry espresso, not my cache, but yolo) and the variety of coffee to take home is great (different origin, roast, experimental fermentations, etc). the atmosphere is, I agree, something too hip, but hey, it doesn't have to be necessary for everyone. I sat inside because it's raining and it's cold, but much space free for the mut. the staff was friendly and helpful when I was there, no complaining to this front. in terms of price, yes, it is very expensive. but this is norweger, so they all earn high-ranking. overpriced also for Norwegian standards? Maybe, but coffee should be expensive. I would rather pay more for a single good, interesting coffee and have less coffee per week. possibly not the best caffeine of the world, but the caffeine braterei combo deserves, imho, 5 stars.

they had no filtered coffee and only a few baked pieces. beautiful environment.

best protection before the rain we could hope for. warm, dry, great kombucha and great coffee. really helpful team here also, which helped me choose a bag of coffee to take home so that I could enjoy our trip in beautiful mountains.

Amazing place, probably the best coffee in Bergen, cozy, a bit pricy, but not much more than Bergen in general.

Amazing business good coffin, good staff, good food and good deeds definitely recommend to go there. So if Ur in urgent need for bloody good coffin and a nice little conversation about it go here. (The shop design is a Sarg lover dream.

Anyway, the Brat Espresso is in my opinion really good (has a funky light roast espresso, not my thing, but YOLO and the variety of coffee to take home is great (different origin, roasting, experimental fermentations, etc.). The atmosphere is, I agree, a little hipster, but hey, it doesn't have to be bad for everyone. I sat inside because it's mountains and it rains and it's cold, but plenty of space outdoors for the courage. The staff was friendly and helpful when I was there, no complaints at this front. Regarding the price, yes, it is very expensive. But this is Norway, so you can earn all high salaries. Overpriced also for Norwegian standards? Maybe, but coffee should be expensive. I would rather pay more for a single good, interesting coffee and have less coffee per week. Maybe not the best café in the world, but the Café Röstkamm deserves, IMHO, 5 stars.

I went there to take an Americano and a double espresso and the Lord who served me was sooo polite. Your coffee didn't taste bitter. And they sell beautiful cups of prisoners!
