Beautiful glacier, but it's pretty sad how quickly we loosing the glacier...
amazingly picturesque glacier, this is a ~3km to foot or drive from the parking lot. we came as a cruise from northfjordeid and loved it absolutely. we heard that it was a 25-30 minute to walk, but we actually have 50-60 minutes, given the necessity of dozens of photos (it was just so beautiful! and because we were not in great shape for treppen- and mountain hikes. there was an alternative Troll car in which round a large golf car hitting a 4x4 that seemed to be on. the hut had clean toilets, souvenir shop, and small caffeine (although no veg options, it had a few snacks drinks could have.
a very funny and pleasant route. there are no difficult approaches. everyone can handle it. beautiful. minus for these leots trolls bring tourists up and back, a land that takes care of the environment and here is a bluffe, stinking abel
a unique place with such a beautiful environment, the essential away in a clam! waterfalls, glacier, river, lake with cyano ink formed by the melting snow of the glacier. electric cars (trolle) to bring them closer to the gletscher.
best flight from norway. it is a very long walk/climbing to the gletscher so we did the troll auto hexe was great fun. the homemade cakes in the lodge are to die.
Nice and easy hike. Something that must visit and see while in that area. Breathtaking place with views. The oldest glacier and waterfalls. We've been during rainy day and it was cloudy. If you have an opportunity, travel there when it's sunny.
