after a bootssafari to see the seals and the puffins, we held in this restaurant for a nice meal on the terrace: the waitress was very nice, she explained us the dishes and gave ready advice. we ate fish chips that are excellent with a good house made cake in dessert, everything was perfect: if they happen, don't hesitate, over, also for a piece of cake and a coffee:

we were 5 starving people, my wife and 3 children and got a very warm greeting, although we were not dressed after a 5 hours walk excessively. eating was the best and the service and everything in all, long time since I had eaten in such a big restaurant. that's a must.
excellent food and service. the food looked and tasted great. especially the tapasplatte was 5/5! really a unique experience in an authentic landscape of nyksund. define a must-have place during the trip in the region västerålen.
I give 5 stars for the restaurant because it was such a beautiful surprise to find a little jewel on this remote location. the service was impeccable (all employees seemed to be German, the dishes we had were really delicious and large portions. a advice is to share the mixed seafood plate as starter in two, or they will ruin their appetit. we had the cure for the main course that was delicious. it came with a full nice (no room for dessert. we stayed at night in a small but cozy room with communal bath. that was okay, because all the other guests had a private bathroom at night. could work less well if the house is full, as there is only one toilet for men and one for women. but as I said, they also have rooms with their own bathroom. the breakfast buffet was delicious. Of course, the choice was rather limited than in a large hotel, but it was sufficient. good work!
Very good food and great portions. One of the best food which we've had in Norway.
