Fiskekrogen Henningsvær

amazing eating and service in the lofoten Islands – definitiw come when they are in henningswær. we arrived at 18:30 without reservation and could get a table. beautiful flavors, textures and presentation, the brot was delicious. we ordered the fish soup, mosquitoes (sauce was tasty with the hauch of curry, lamb, hailbutt, cadjau (burnflowers were great)! and chocolate mousse for dessert. the favorit had to have been the healed, but nevertheless everything was fresh and at a great price pleasant.

I reserve my 5 star reviews for places that “do not improve further and are on the top.” this place is located and at the top of the pyramid is the very tasty eating! we ordered fish soup with brot and butter, wal carpaccio, kabeljau and halibut. everything was very delicious, well balanced and beautiful looking! a big plus is that the portions are not small and you can get full (if you eat slowly enough) brot and butter were divine! warm, moist sourized bread with not only a butter, the butter has dried wale floct in it

delicious food, great location, very pleasant atmosphere. the fish soup and the roasted halibut both were great and the desert (carameled apple with ice cream) was surprising and very refreshing.

Excellent vegan options!! I was happily surprised that a fish restaurant up here north would offer anything vegan. Fiskekrogen offers very tasty vegan options! I had the cauliflower trio, the lemon risotto and they were both excellent! The risotto was really really good! My friend had the vegan burger, which she liked (looked like Beyond maybe, but I did not confirm). They were very nice to offer the vegan burger from the lunch menu in the evening. I have celiac disease and they were very careful and were able to exclude breadcrumbs from the cauliflower trio and they checked with the kitchen that the risotto for sure was gluten free. I felt safe eating there and did not have a problem afterwards. I can highly recommend for anyone who needs to eat gluten free.

My friends and I passed by here on our biking trip and were met with very hospitable and friendly staff. Their fish soup is delicious beyond description and I can also recommend their fish burgers if you would try some of the fish from Lofoten. Cozy atmosphere and charming location as well. Thank you for the experience!

Excellent restaurant by the Henningsvær canal. I'm excited. I really have to say that during my 14-day vacation I never ate better than here. As soon as I walked in I felt very welcome and the hospitable greeting from the Argentinian waiter was impressive. He immediately led us very attentively to our seat next to the window with an impressive panorama. I ate a fish soup. The soup tasted overly delicious. I'm not a fan of soups, but you should try one of these. As a second course, I then ate a whale carpaccio. Very distinctive taste. My friends ate well too. The toilets are clean and stylishly furnished. The waiter is also worth an experience because he inspires with his manner and hospitality. The only criticism is that you were not allowed to pay separately. Nonetheless, I am amazed at his ability. Shouldn't be a criticism either. Just a starting point for further improvement. But I will come back, I know that now.

Had high hope for a fancy dinner, but food is mediocre, not too impressed. Very nice environment and friendly staff though. I had whale meat salad and pan fried halibut. Salad had wilted and yellowing arugula leaves. Halibut was ok, nothing to write home about. Maybe I ordered the wrong items.
