Fløien Folkerestaurant

This evaluation is based on the cafeteria food and overall experience. I really think they have two price-class food options here. After you come to the top of the hill, there is not much more to eat or drink, especially at any reasonable price. Norway is usually expensive, so you could find almost 50 crowns for a waffle, or 90 for a small sandwich, but at least it was below 100 that you would find elsewhere with bad atmosphere. It is a beautiful place inside, the staff is friendly, and it is a great place to hide from the potential rain (which will probably happen to you at a point in mountains). We didn't try the right menu because of the prices, but the food looked nice. Best views in the city when it is a clear day!

Gorgeous view, cozy atmosphere (not luxurious) and fair prices. Smoothie is for 60 nok, cup of coffee is 40.

Lovely views of Bergen from the top of Fløyen, the restaurant is right outside the funicular, once you get up. Classy restaurant, pretty posh and quite expensive, but totally expected given its appearance and the spectacular panorama. Not many vegetarian options, pretty usual for Norway though.

Stellar views and surprisingly good food! We ate dinner here one night and managed to snag the best table with a great view over Bergen. The hot food options were tasty (a big pot of great mussels for me and a good reindeer sandwich for my husband). The hot food looked a lot better than the cold sandwich choices. They were out of a few items by the time we ate, but then again it's probably a busier place at lunchtime.
