My husband and I stopped for dinner and had a nice meal. He had the salmon that came in a creamy sauce with potatoes and a tastefully crispy salad. I had the Cheeseburger and it came with beautiful dresses and delicious Baconries. We finished the meal with the apple cake w/ ice and it was very delicious. This is a very beautiful place right on the water of the Fjords. Our server was friendly and supervised for us.

Service from the owner is not polite, food comes without taste. The fish and chip look comes from the freezer. How can a restaurant with fresh homemade food make this?

Best restaurant in the area! We ate here twice during a 3-day visit. The fish soup, shrimp and salads are so good and everything tastes very fresh. Get the apple cake for dessert it is made with apples from the owner's garden. DELICIOUS!

Delicious! You can go there with your eyes closed! The pasta is delicious as much as the salmon and the portions are more than generous! The owner is a bit of a boor but gives excellent advice! She advised us to take only one dessert for two since we had already eaten well and the apple cake portion was huge. What a surprising and very appreciative gesture!

Friendly staff in a cosy harbour side restaurant. Both inside and outside seating. Tastefully home made dishes. All dishes are main dishes but when we asked to share the fish soup as a starter they served us two smaller sized portions. Very thoughtful and client friendly. The pasta with seafood is good Our #2 choice for dinner in Balestrand.

Party of 5 for early dinner. Baked salmon, fish and chips and pasta. All were plentiful and delicious. Ice cream for dessert was very tasty. Server/hostess/owner was entertaining.
