Very nice hotel
curtains cannot be closed. nice breakfast.
attentive, friendly staff and clean standard room, many with views of the water. good for a quick stay. minus without minibar, although they get refreshments from the consierge. standard Norwegian TV channels, no payment per view.
a decent enough hotel and friendly staff, 1) I stayed 3 days and room was never cleaned / made even though I asked. 2) restaurant and bar near 09:00 and if not enough guests in the hotel, restaurant is not open at all, so no eating. 3) winter, so when it was opened window for fresh air space was too cold and when it was heated too dry and cloged it. probably better in summer
the rooms have no tea, coffee or other drinks. restaurant has nights where the only available is burger and pizza. gym is quite open hopeless, without towells and bins that have not been emptied since weeks. the hotel is dated and worn. tw has no functioning tracking channels. there is no room service for every day or night. in the night the hotel staff will let them wait an hour for a cup of tea if the machine does not work without offering an alternative solution. if this annoys you, then the staff cries to you and becomes aggressive and threatening. when complaining to the manager, they promise a room upgrade so they get basic needs like drinks in their rooms, but they don't promise to deliver them. I've been here for 13 years, since 2005 I've been here for 6 weeks last year. I will never come back, and I would strongly suggest that this hotel is best avoided now. the device claims 4 stars, but as someone who travels a lot, it is really closer to 2 stars. they have a great location near the sea, but they drive this alone as their only real facility. when they strip it, there is no more to say.
