We did not like the buffet meals at this hotel. Canned food, highly processed meats, low quality cheese, canned pate, canned fish, dry omelet, slices of apples that did not taste good, small coffee cups given for tea. The hotel did not offer local apples in this Apple Country! Shame, very disappointing! It 's like the owners said Do not come back!

We had a wonderful time at Leikanger Fjord Hotel. The staff was super friendly, service was great and the location was beautiful. I especially would like to thank Grete who went above and beyond to assist me when I left my insulin behind and managed to have it sent to me via a Ferry. To me this was such a fantastic act of true hospitality and kindness. Thanks again, not only for a great stay, but for your care and service.
The rooms were very clean! the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms were very clean. They even provided an electric kettle (vattenkokare) on request. The breakfast was also really good and you could eat breakfast outside just near the lake.
Very basic hotel that looked like it had not been refurbished since 1970’s. Room very basic with small single beds and outdated furniture . Arrived late and was directed to the supermarket for food.
The hotel lies on the northern bank of Sognefjord. The place is quite and gives the traveler a very Norwegian experience. The older part of the hotel has antique furniture. In the evening there was a buffet dinner with good food and reasonable price.
Super lovely staff, very helpful. The beds are very confy. Amazing view. The terrace is beautiful. Great breakfast aswell.
