super sad, because I really wanted to like this place. neither I nor my husband have finished our tellers.
Everyone says this place is great, but eating that I have there will not be any vegan. it tries several times, but it's just not good
we visited oslo for 5 days and ate here twice. I loved the Buddha Shot and the Lasagne meal with the kartoffel salad. also the carrot cake and the brownie were simply perfect. would have regained this place in any case!
I was in Oslo in 2018 but still have Nordvegan in my list of favourite restaurants. Back then, there weren't many vegan restaurants in Oslo, but this was one of them, and I took several people there. I liked their food a lot, especially the mixed bowl, and I don't even think it was that expensive for Oslo standards. At least I remember having been to more expensive places in Oslo.
I know Oslo is very expensive, but I felt like the portion was small compared to the price. Still it was very tasty and vegan!
Nordvegan is by far one of the best Vegan-Only restaurants in Oslo's city Center. You are presented to a buffet with many options by a friendly and engaged staff. If you don't want to do the effort of customising you platter, you can choose from a menu. You can have a full meal like a Buddha Bowl, or just nice spring roll to go. Nordvegan also do catering and delivery by Wolt!
I had the lasagne couscous salad with hummus. If you're not a fan of raw onions, like me, don't eat the salad Unfortunately, the lasagne was only a bit warm slapped on the plate so that everything ran down the side. My friend had BBQ Melody she really liked it. The Staff was very friendly the location was also cozy. I also had a slice of carrot cake. Unfortunately I cannot recommend it. It was quite dry, there were raisins in it the topping tasted like butter. It's a matter of taste. When we were there for the third time it was really delicious.
