great location. and to define a visit worth. we really enjoyed our three days in this sweet city and cozy hotel. the hotel is located directly behind the small harbour and next to the beach. our room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. it is a “unique” hotel and “muss” in norway. I'm not sure about the “Grand”. some basic work could already remove the trick (new bathroom, the facade to paint, the bush in the garden of the backyard, old furniture from the backyard. the breakfast offers everything they want (also more than that. it is only on a strange wise (like the marmelade next to the fish and missed some small extras (like small dishes for the marmelade). the coffee is not drinkable to an Austrian coffee lover (thanks to the nice staff that really tries to make better coffee for me. we will definitely return to this beautiful village and hotel (bring my own coffee like maybe ; .

unbeatable view, the bed is incredibly comfortable, it could use in the room ac for the hot summer days and a modernization in the bathrooms.
beautiful premium hotel right on the beach. we were there in the april and had a quiet time there. we had a room with sea view. we were very happy with the hotel and the neighbourhood. wgl. and the beaches are amazing. very friendly staff. yes, the bathroom in the room is a little old, but it doesn't matter to us.

Beautiful Hotel, perfekt location, Nice rooms, exellent food
This hotel feels like one step closer to ones grave. The rooms are closer to the vibe of Shining than to a “Grand” hotel. The staff can’t pronounce your name correctly, and they don’t even make an effort. The food served as breakfast is like a lunch cantina at a factory in the middle of Wisconsin. Actually I take that back. Sorry factory in Wisconsin, you didn’t deserve that. The best part of the hotel is the free street parking which is 100 NOk cheaper than the hotel parking, which is further away. Don’t stay here, unless you want a horror movie feeling.
