a nice, cozy hotel in a beautiful mountain area. the hired were perhaps the kindest I met and made the stay really special. the food was fantastic and the possibilities for long run and snowshoe hike were unforgettable! I will visit 100% again.

the hotel is beautiful and tastefully decorated as a mountain hotel should be. line is the most friendly and hospitable host that a gast could ask. this is really a real Norwegian mountain hotel experience
11000 nok for 2 people in nørstebu cottage for 3 nights (4 days). all meal times in which deliciously contained and tasted. including: bike rental at any time, riding, 2 yoga courses and bier tasting with a double winner of the Norwegian brewing championship. the holiday home was simple but had everything we needed and was the upgrade from the hotel absolutely worth. the surrounding mountains are not as impressive as landed, but lighter and better for mountain hikers. it's a beautiful opposite. When I traveled in Normandy, I often feel ripe, not venabu! the best day in norway ever. (ps. expensive carladen!
Venabu is a truly special place. The location is postcard-like, the staff is so nice and accommodating you feel you are among friends. The food is plentiful and very authentic, specially the Norwegian feat on Wednesdays. The facilities are clean and in good state. The atmosphere is cozy and 'hygge ' as the Danes would say. Totally recommend it!

Venabu has a beautiful surrounding for skiing and the staff are just amazing! The food is delicious and local. I had a wonderful week here and will definitely visit again in near future. Highly recommended!
